Collection & Aftercare

Collection We took your name & number but we will NOT ring or text you to collect, please collect in 7 days unless we say otherwise on the day you paint. You do not have to pre-arrange collection your pieces. Just walk anytime during our opening days & hours. You have 3 months to collect, although we appreciate it if sooner. If you live far away and will be longer than 3 months, please let us know so we can store it for longer. We do not mail. STONEWARE - Anything created at the pottery wheel or clay courses. It takes some time for it to dry or it will explode in the kiln, then, it requires 2 firings. A bisque firing takes 3 days and the glaze firing also takes 3 days. Add the drying time and it can take 3 - 8 weeks. Pottery Painting Aftercare Earthenware! All the pottery on our shelves is food safe and functional. The same as all the pottery you buy in the shops created with earthenware clay, we highly recommend that they are hand washed only.   You have created something special and unique.  It is best not to place them in a dishwasher or microwave, so they can last for many years to come. Stoneware! When creating your own pottery either by handbuilding in clay or pottery wheel you will be using stoneware, it is perfectly safe to place these pieces in a dishwasher, microwave, outdoors, etc.
